Good example, though I might go more the "what Rebecca was to Cheers," though that wouldn't work cause I like the Rebecca years more than the Diane years. How about "what Iola and Bubba were to Mama's Family?" Or maybe a "new Becky/old Becky" Roseanne comparison could be made.

Nope, I think the Bob Barker one is about as spot on as it gets.

Diane is the blonde, right? Rebecca is the one doing the, ahem, "diet ads" now? Just curious if this means you like the latter sequenced shows more than earlier? Isn't that rare in TV sitcoms?

Come to think of it, though, I did like the nonblonde better too...maybe it's obvious. D was too whiney...for a show I watched a few dozen times (didn't have a TV for yrs--seriously, on principle...what a dolt), I can recall a lot of it now via indirect input (people were ALWAYS talking about it).

Yeah, I liked the later years better than the early, which is rare. The later years had WOODY. And Frasier. The early years sucked, Diane was too whiney.
